About
I entered the art scene in 2002 when I enrolled in non-credit evening art classes at the University of Georgia as a way to meet people and develop a hobby. Instead, I fell in love with the process of drawing and painting and decided to pursue an art degree. I studied at Georgia for the first year and a half, and then my husband’s work brought us to Florida. After the move, a year off to establish “in state” residency for tuition purposes, and a hard smack by Hurricane Ivan, I finally completed my BA in studio arts at the University of West Florida in May 2008.
